Brown Bear, Clifford & Storybook Coloring: ColorDood Isn’t a Character Book

Storybook searches are real. ColorDood will not draw those characters. Here is how to turn that energy into scholar-guided coloring.

Updated August 24, 2026 · 8 min read

Parents search Brown Bear book, Brown Bear Brown Bear, Brown Bear Brown Bear Eric Carle, Brown Bear Brown Bear what, Brown Bear Brown Bear what can you see, book Clifford the Big Red Dog, Clifford the red dog book, blues clue clue, Captain Underpants books, and purple crayon book because those stories are already in the house. The next thought is often “printable coloring page of that character.”

ColorDood will not be that printable. Those characters are licensed. Most of them are animals. ColorDood: Halal Coloring Game does not include unofficial storybook coloring pages, and it does not include animals or birds.

Storytime and coloring do not have to be the same IP

A Brown Bear book night can still end with coloring. Just not with Brown Bear book animals on the sheet. Open ColorDood and pick a floral, a pattern, a vehicle, or a home. The child still gets a coloring game. The story stays on the bookshelf where it belongs.

What we will not add

  • Brown Bear Brown Bear colouring sheets or “what can you see” copycats
  • Clifford the Big Red Dog coloring pages
  • Blue’s Clues character sheets
  • Captain Underpants books coloring pages
  • Purple crayon book character maps

A simple after-story coloring prompt

  1. Finish the picture book
  2. Ask “what object from our day should we color?” — a cup, a car, a flower, a house
  3. Open ColorDood Library and find that kind of page
  4. Let the child pick the palette (Candy after a silly book, Earthy after a quiet one)

If you needed unofficial Clifford or Brown Bear coloring pages, we are not that website. If you needed a coloring book that will never surprise you with someone else’s mascot, download ColorDood.
