Autumn Leaves Coloring Pages — Free Printable PDF

Autumn leaves coloring pages can be a long, quiet session. Download ten detailed leaf sheets, free, and skip the Halloween packs.

Updated October 25, 2026 · 11 min read

Autumn leaves coloring pages are one of the searches that spike when the weather turns. Most of the results mix in bats, costumes, and carved pumpkins. A leaf is enough. Maple lobes, oak waves, and a page of leaves mid-fall give you edges and veins to think about without a holiday scene.

This free PDF is a Letter pack from ColorDood: a cover with a colordood.com QR, then ten original leaf drawings. The footer on every sheet reads ColorDood · colordood.com. Use it for a long coloring session, then open the app when you want more pages.

Letter size. Cover with colordood.com QR + 10 leaf pages. Personal and family use only — please do not resell.

What is inside the autumn leaves pack

  • A large maple study and a large oak study
  • A falling-leaves sheet with mixed sizes
  • A leaf wreath and a leaf mandala
  • Overlapping leaves, a side-by-side maple and oak, and a four-panel leaf page
  • A leaf filled with smaller leaves, plus a border of small leaves

How to color an adult leaf page slowly

Work one lobe at a time

Pick a lobe, lay a light base, then darken the side that tucks under the next lobe. Leave a thin lighter edge along the vein. That single decision is most of the hour. You do not need a new color for every section.

Three colors are a full palette

  • A warm yellow for the largest open areas
  • A rust or deep orange for overlaps and tips
  • An olive or brown for veins and the stem

Print settings

  1. Print at 100% scale on Letter paper
  2. Use best quality so the finer veins stay crisp
  3. Print one page first and check the margins
  4. Put a blotter sheet under the page if you use markers

Leaves without the Halloween extras

ColorDood’s catalog is scholar-guided and family-safe. These sheets have no animals, birds, people, or licensed characters, and no Halloween or Christmas artwork. A plain pumpkin does not appear here either — this pack stays on leaves. For the wider fall palette, including harvest food, see the autumn coloring guide.

A two-evening leaf project

  1. Evening one: print the maple study and the falling-leaves page
  2. Color the maple in three warm colors and stop while the paper still looks clean
  3. Evening two: color the oak in cooler olives and browns
  4. Compare the two. Same season, different temperature
  5. Open ColorDood and try the warmer palette on a floral page with Watercolor

Yes. The PDF is free for personal and family printing. Please do not resell the line art.

Are the leaf pages made for adults?

Yes. Veins, overlapping leaves, and interior patterns are there so a single sheet can take a long sitting. Kids can still color the larger outer shapes.

Do the pages include Halloween or animals?

No. There are no jack-o’-lanterns, costumes, scarecrows, animals, or birds. The subject is leaves.

What paper should I use?

Print at 100% on Letter paper. A slightly heavier sheet helps if you layer colored pencil.

Can I color more leaves in the app?

Yes. ColorDood includes florals, fruit, and patterns in a 1000+ page library, and you can export another PDF from the app.
